I met Petra about a month ago at Studio 9 Salon when she came in for a haircut. Her sister’s family are all clients of mine, and she had to try me out herself!
When I was cutting Petra’s hair, we talked all about color, and how she was a highlight girl, and only a highlight girl. However, she had tried to color her own hair a while ago, ruining the highlighted look, plus her new root!
So when she left, she booked a color appointment, and yesterday was finally the time!
I foiled up a partial highlight on Petra, placing the foils to coinside with the haircut we were about to give her. Once they were in place, I added a gorgeous blonde to the base, to not only color the root, but to cover up the mistakes she had made with at home coloring.
When the color was finished, Petra got gutsy and told me to chop her hair into an angled bob, but a longer version. Petra had never had short hair before.
