Brittany’s peekaboos

Brittany came in today for a new look.

She used to sport a lot of very chunky blonde highlights throughout the top of her head. Brittany, like many others, can’t stand to see new growth at the root, but she still wanted to see blonde in her hair. We had to come up with a solution so she would not have to come back every three weeks for a root touch up. That is alot of maintenance for a teenager.

I told her mom about peekaboo highlights during her own appointment earlier that week, and today, we went for it.

I colored the top of her head back to her natural color, and put a bunch of slices of lightener on each side of her part, and throughout the back using TIGI meche strips.

After, I gave her a few new layers to show off the blonde underneath a little better.

I think Brittany was very happy with her new look, and that it will be more easibly maintainable for a teenager.
